Meet our designers....

LYNDA MEAD SHEA
Lynda received her interior design training at Parsons School of Design in New York and is an allied member of ASID. In 1982 she founded Shea Design with a focus on residential interior design. In 1984 she founded French Country Imports and in her nearly fifty buying trips to France has brought to her shop an amazing array of fine antique furniture and decorative objects. Her work on residences, inns, and public institutions can be seen in a number of national publications.

GAYE CARTER
Gaye Carter is a allied member of ASID, and has a Bachelors degree in Interior Design from the University of North Carolina at Greenville. During Gaye's career she has had a number of commercial projects, including corporate offices, private jets, restaurants, churches, physicians offices, and law firms. However, her passion is residential projects, both primary residences and vacation homes. She enjoys the challenge of taking her clients, ideas, tastes, and lifestyles and creating spaces that reflect those. Most of her clients prefer eclectic spaces with an emphases on 18th and 19th century furniture, and contemporary art. Because, Gaye lives in Memphis about seventy percent of projects are local. However, twenty to thirty percent of her large projects are in other states, which includes the southeast, and in the west.
GAIL WOODS -Associate Designer
Gail attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated with a BS in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She received her professional ASID designation in 1975. She has been associated with other fine Memphis design firms, notably, Kimbrough, Inc. and E. C. Denaux. She has served in the community and her church and on boards of the Junior League, The Girls Club, Presbyterian Day School, the Christian Psychological Center and Emmaus.

WARNER MOORE -Associate Designer
Warner spent his childhood in the United States, Asia, and Europe. He has always had a passion for the decorative arts, and Interior Design was a natural career for him. As an Interior Designer and event planner, he has had many interesting projects both in the United States and abroad. In his career, he has also (as an antique dealer) bought many containers in England and France to serve his client's needs. He loves working with antiques and contemporary furnishings to create eclectic interiors. "I love the mix. A room should have surprises to keep it interesting and to give it personality".
